Gabriel Yetnikoff “Yeti” has now been with Back To Earth for a decade, first as a participant and later transitioning into a guide role. With zero camping or backpacking experience before his first trip, the Tuolumne River of Yosemite sparked in him a deep love for the earth.

After completing a degree in Sustainability, he traveled Central America for seven months and returned wanting to improve his relations in the place he called home. Since then, he has been trained as a permaculturist and land tender with a focus on native plants, water and beautification. He resides in Sebastopol, CA.

Currently, he is most passionate about his Raga singing studies, practicing Ashtanga yoga and playing beach volleyball. He is a certified Wilderness First Responder.
