Giancarlo Muscardini

Giancarlo is a father and husband, an artist and musician, a Capoeirista, a skilled builder, tender of the land and keeper of the Beauty Way. Born and raised in Berkeley California, the diversity and culture of the Bay Area has deeply informed his world view and life ways. Giancarlo is a lover of the natural world, he spends most of his time outside interacting with the elements; the trees, rocks, water, soil and the creatures of creation. A certified Permaculture designer, he brings the knowledge of this modality to his practice of gardening, farming and perennial food forest systems. As a graduate of the Afro-Brazilian martial art of Capoeira, under the guidance of Mestre Acordeon, Giancarlo has extensive experience teaching youth this art form. He has visited Brazil multiple times to deepen his study. Valuing Ancestral Skills, Giancarlo practices archery, fire making and tending, wild foods, animal processing and a deep connection to all things beautiful & wild.
