Guide

Sean fell in love with the Sierra Nevada mountains while working at Berkeley Tuolumne camp in his youth. The rivers running west out of the Sierras have informed much of how he experiences the world. The realization that there was no separation between those waters and himself was one of the most important lessons he could’ve ever learned. Since then Sean has spent as much time as possible outside. Fortunately Sean found a talent and passion for working with children, that led him to working In education which left his summers free to explore more of the western states. That eventually shifted into becoming a union stagehand in Oakland which allowed for even more time to go be with the world that he is madly in love with.

This was an incredibly fortunate shift in Sean’s life as he found himself in a deep relationship with the desert, especially the Death Valley region, in which he needed more time in the non summer months to cultivate. The relationships formed with the outside world have provided a sense of meaning and purpose in Sean’s life. Feeling called to give the gift of love for the world, Sean finds himself engaged in a multifaceted approach to share this love with others.
